Big enough for two!

(5 out of 5) by C. Brandhorst on Nov 26, 2008
I purchased this reading the other reviews that an HP 17" laptop would fit. I was a bit scared as Alienware laptop tend to be a bit longer (Taller?) than traditional laptops, but I figured that I would give it a go. I received it today and it's snug. It's not too small, not too loose. It's about perfect. The strap that goes over the top of the laptop to secure it in rests securely in place, no bulge.

That being said, the pack looks a lot cooler in person. I'm not trendy, hip or up with the new jive, and it looks cool to me. It's pretty well constructed. I went over the stitching to look for flaws or cheap material and I couldn't find any. It has handy pockets in obscure places for hiding things that a random snatcher wouldn't look for (Like in the flap, there's four pockets, two are kind of hidden). The base of the bag is deep, and wide enough to put, I'd say, three average sized text books, along with the laptop. My charger for my alienware is HUGE and it still has some room with the cord wrapped around it.

So, sturdy, well built, BIG and stylish... for 30 bucks. Good deal for me!

Great

This bag is exactly the thing i was looking for to house my 17 inch hp. I spent maybe an hour and a half looking before i found it. I was tired of seeing backpacks that looked like the ones i had back in high school. It has a very nice look and a comfortable fit. Made of a durable material and VERY spacious, works even if i'm not using it to carry around my laptop. For anyone looking, this is the one of the best bags on the market in my opinion. Caselogic is an all around fantastic company

Awesome bag. Saving my shoulders

This bag has been great so far. I just got back from a overseas trip with this and my 15in MBP. The bag is great and good to travel with. It was very secure and felt comfortable to carry around. Plenty of storage and space.
Wish it had another smaller pocket or a specific holder for pens and pencils. The two pockets are huge and things get lost.

Well-made, spacious laptop backpack

(5 out of 5) by C. Krishnek on Oct 9, 2008 (Texas)
For the last month I've been looking around for a suitable case to fit my 17" Toshiba laptop. Everything I looked at was either too small or too expensive ($50+). I finally found this backpack and not only was it the right size and price, it actually had a cool design.

It's very spacious and well structured, and there are plenty of pockets to organize power cords and personal items. The protective padding for laptops is well-made. The straps are surprisingly comfortable even when the pack is stuffed with my laptop and books for school. The fabric and lining feel durable, so I'm looking forward to many years toting this backpack around.

I definitely recommend this product, especially to any laptop owner in high school or college.

Fantastic Product!

I love this backpack. It was purchased because I needed something to carry my purse in while I was on crutches - it was horrible to try and use my one-shoulder purse while on crutches. I eventually ended up tripping on my purse and falling! Cue this backpack. It's HUGE. It holds my purse, a laptop, my lunch, several books, and whatever else I can think to cram in there. The only problem I have is that there aren't enough pockets for organization - the pockets are huge and things tend to get lost in there. Other than the fact that it's a bit TOO big, this backpack has been sturdy, stylish, and so handy. I'm not on crutches any more, and I'm still using it.
