I use this backpack to get my 17 inch dell and all accessories everywhere on my motorcycle. The padding on the shoulder straps keeps from causing my back undue stress. There are two extra pockets on the front under the flap. Very well made. No complaints!

Pretty much exactly as advertised. If it looks like the style that you want, it is probably perfect. Holds my 17" laptop snugly.
Haven't used the bottle opener yet so if you are worried about that bit, might want to read more reviews =P

Okay, so maybe it's a little unproffessional showing up to business meetings with a back pack, but when you're lugging around a 17" notebook the messenger style strap eventually just has to go. The Caselogic Canvas Backpack is not overly ostentacious, has plenty of storage space even AFTER you have put in your 17" notebook, and feels comfortable and rugged at the same time. You can't go wrong with the price. All in all, a great deal.

I purchased this bag to replace a belkin laptop bag I had been using to the limit. I am an IT professional and am also in college so I need to carry a lot of stuff. My belkin bag would hold my laptop and a few accessories and be bulging at the seams. This bag however is currently holding:

AND I still have room for way more in the main pouch. The only time I have filled this to the limit is when I was in a hurry and stuffed a spindle of 100 CD-R's to bring to a friends house. This bag would be great for anyone who uses a laptop and needs the space to carry more stuff than an average user. I would recommend this for people who also have a kindle and school books to lug around as well.
The straps are comfortable and durable, the zippers seem strong enough to hold up to major usage, but the main compartment is maintained with 2 plastic clips that are nice and strong as well.

People looking for a bag to carry just a laptop should probably avoid this bag though as it a bit large, but if you see yourself toting a small country on a daily basis this is a great bag!!
