I did a good two weeks of research before selecting a TV and I'm 100% happy with my choice. Samsung is a leading manufacturer of LCD panels and actually sells their screens to other companies -- and their expertise shows. The screen is amazing, especially when calibrated properly, and at much lower cost than some other brands (which may be using a Samsung screen anyway!). The number and variety of rear inputs is impressive and will suit my needs just fine. The actual TV housing is sleek and arrived without a scratch. No dead pixels on mine either. I really can't say much else than buy it now -- I couldn't bring myself to purchase any other 52" LCD TV.

I found this Television to be an outstanding value. The picture is amazingly sharp. Darks, lights, and colors are all of very high quality. In addition the menus for adjusting the picture, color, and other aspects of the television are clear and fairly easy to get to. All in all the set has an excellent picture and is user friendly. In addition, the price could not be beaten anywhere else I shopped. The only detractor from the entire buying experience was the shipping. Delivery took 4 days longer than expected. However, I did use the free shipping, and when the set did arive the delivery company set it up for me and checked the television to be sure it was working properly. That is pretty impressive for a free service, so the extra couple of days was worth it. I am fully satisfied with my purchase and feel I got an excellent deal.

I have been looking at the 52" LCD's for a while and finally decided on the Samsung 550. It is everything I wanted as far as picture quality. I do have a complaint with the sound. It doesn't have the quality that I was expecting. I am looking for a reciever and surround system now for it. I have always planned on adding a receiver anyway, so the sound quality isn't much of an issue. Other wise it is a great product.

So far I have really enjoyed this TV. After careful consideration I decided on the 52" 550 over the 46" 650. They were roughly the same price and so I decided on the bigger 52" over the slightly better picture quality and 120HZ of the 650. So far I am happy with my decision. This set has very nice blacks and many adjustments to make the picture look great. I recommend it to anyone.

We love our new TV from Amazon. We received it the same week in which we ordered it and it was brought into the house and set up in the location which we wanted it by the driver of the carrier. I would recommend this TV to anyone.
