I've owned this tv for a few weeks and i have to say i am very happy with it. The picture with Xbox 360, Playstation and blu-ray is fabulous.
Also a plus is that you hardly get any glare from windows or lights in the screen. Only downside I have really seen is that the speakers in the tv don't have good sound. Though this isn't really a problem considering i don't use them anyways. And the price for the Tv was the cheapest high quality television i could find.

So Far So Great!!
I have had the TV for about a month now and love it! The sound is not the greatest, but if you play with it a little bit you can get it to sound pretty good. I will be buying surround sound soon so it's not a big deal to me. I have not noticed any motion blur (being it's 60hz). Definately recommended! I hope it lasts along time...
I own two of them.
I liked this tv so much, I bought a second. I can't express how clean looking this television is. Mounted on a wall, it really adds to a room. Watching HD content on this tv really makes it shine and with a $1500 price tag, it's tough to beat.
Samsung TV - LN52A550
This TV is fantastic. Colors are sharp, has all the ports you need, and bunch of settings to tweak. And it's Samsung so quality wise you know you can't go wrong. The only issue with the TV, which many people have complained about is the sound. Follow the sound settings from this site, http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1020612 and those sounds settings are gone. Nothing else to say about the TV itself as it's perfect.
Beware of shipping from Amazon's shipping carrier. They say you get some special handling shipping where the carrier sets the TV up for you to insure it works. This is not the case at all. They do the same thing all other shipping carriers do...drop you package off and leave. If you have this type of shipping make sure you turn the TV and test prior to the shipper departing in case the TV has a defect. Other than this issue, shipping was EXTREMELY fast when ordering from Amazon directly.

The Most Serious WOW for this price EVER!
So I did all my homework for months on big HD TV's. What size, what specs, and how I could BEST spend my money. After all the research, I confidently went with this....and I have never, never regretted it. Friends and family, who themselves have big screen TV's, have all commented on how eye popping and absolutely amazing the picture looks. And with 3 HDMI inputs, it handles my brighthouse cable, Blu-Ray, and my XBOX 360 which is great for those with many different consoles to consider. The non-glossy is very much the way to go here for all of you considering the 650. I know it features a few more hi-tech features, but for the money difference and the gloss issue, spare yourself, the 550 is the best. And unless your TV room is mansion huge, 52 inches is perfect, please dont get hung up on sizes larger than that. My couch sits a good 9-10 feet away and I wouldn't want it any bigger. I paired this TV with the Samsung HT-TZ512 home theater (~$400) and have been on cloud nine ever since. The "anynet" feature between samsung components is really nice. You know, it was such a dillemna for so long, with all the choices out there, and especially given these are such big ticket items. But this combo is a sincere winner, even for audio/visual philes. So to sum it up, add this to your cart and dont look back. And then thank me later :^)
