Nice little TV for kitchen or small room. Good picture quality, easy to set up.

Purchased this LCD to put into the bedroom of our motorhome and plan to purchase a 22" for the front of our motorhome. These LCD's save space and less weight. Excellent picture quality and like the features the remote control offers. Lastly, want to commend Amazon.com on the excellent service and response given to this buyer. Thank you so much.

Bought this TV for our kitchen. Picture quality is great and sound is not bad. The TV is also a good looker. Am pretty happy with my purchase. Get HD channels by air, and the pickup quality is also good.
However, I would make a couple of changes:
- Redesign the remote. It looks as "old-age" and the TV looks "new-age"!!
- TV start/stop time is slow...after you press the button.

I got this tv to replace one on my kitchen counter. It is connected to a cable and the HD channels are fabulous. The black with the tiny red tint is beautiful, but the picture quality is great. Well pleased.

This is the third Samsung TV I have purchased (own an LN46A860 and an LN32A450 - guess I am a Samsung devotee). I purchased my other TVs from local outlets but after checking prices, picked this smaller 19" up from Amazon. I have to say that I could have gone with other brands for cheaper but am sold on Samsung for quality. My other two TVs are outstanding (especially the LN46A860) so I figured I'd spend up a bit for another Samsung. The LN19A650 has the same great looks and aesthetics of other late model Samsung LCDs but in a smaller package. I needed a TV for the kitchen that would fit under cabinets while on a stand and this one fits the bill. Picture is outstanding, even though on this TV I am using direct cable hookup (no cable box). For the Super Bowl, I hooked up the Comcast HD box I usually use on the 32" and this little 19" provided outstanding HD (via the one HDMI port) for the whole game as we moved back and forth from the living room (and the big screen) to the kitchen. One nice feature on the stand is that it tilts to angles and can even be tilted all the way back to mount the TV on a wall. You can also unattach the stand and use a normal flat panel mount.

Four stars instead of five only because of the sound setup - as mentioned on previous reviews, the speakers point down so if you want loud, you need to crank the sound almost to nearly max volume. Doesn't distort, just a bit annoying that you have to use this much volume control. Actually this isn't a deal killer for me - as I said, I only purchased this for kitchen use which doesn't necessitate that I have the TV that loud but if someone wants to use this in a larger room without adding a speaker system they might be disappointed.

Overall - pleased again with the Samsung quality on LCD TVs. The Touch of Color looks great even on this smaller TV, the included remote works great and by using it I have been able to get a few true HD stations by using the remote to pick up QAM channels when not hooked up to an HD box.
