this unit is great the sound is great and the video is great. all things as expected for the brand and the price. only setback is when connected to the cdi200 whihc is the ipod cable connector, the unit is unable to charge the ipod unit and apparently pioneer customer support answered that ipod has upgraded and they have not so no go with charging.

This System is an excellent replacement to the stock radio in my BMW 330i. At first I couldn't decide between this model or the AVH 5100 but once I fired up the 5000 all doubts went away. Sound is crystal clear and it's extrememly user friendly. I routed the USB and the I-Pod interface thru my glove compartment and I also bought the XM-Radio Tuner which performs flawlessly with this system because it's Satellite Ready. DVD player works excellent also. Future plans are to get the Reverse Camera, bluetooth module, and the HD-Radio reciever then I'm done............I hope. lol

It works great.I so love driving around with a awesome system in my truck.I feel like someone pimped my ride.The only thing that sux is that my friends always want me to drive now.If u dont want attention,dont get it,haha

P5000DVD is one of the best that i have ever bought a nice piece of technology in my car, his options is good screen is nice, easy software to deal with , my only concern is the Pioneer CD-BTB200 is not included and its very important

I replaced my power acustik with this unit and im very impressed....the ipod link is soooooo awesome and it plays videos off my ipod touch and everything i have fallen in love with this radio
