Tyler on Dec 13, 2008i should have read the 1 star product rate before i bought this product, because she/he stated that you can not organize your music into folders the way you want. This means no mix folder, all the music gets placed into album folders or artist folders, ect. leading to a jumble of music songs. the software is retarded and the Philips website has no solution for this, which i can not understand why. This product is going back to the store!!
Good if you're looking for a cheap player.

Good price, good quality, enough gigs to hold a lot of music and it's small. The only downsides are that it doesn't play AAC files and it takes forever to upload your music onto it. (Took me nearly an hour to fill it up!)

Nice Player

The 1GB would have been enough space, and the sound was very good with the supplied buds, but better with a set of already owned Sony buds.
I decided to give this Phillips a try and I'm glad I made the switch. The radio reception is a little better, but the sound is much better than the Sansa (with Sony buds). The buds which come with the Phillips are not that good. If you don't want to invest in extra buds, then go with the Sansa.
The Phillips does not have a clip but it does have a pin where one can attach a lanyard. I suspect a tape on clip made for a cell phone would work good and Phillips may even sell a clip for this player.

fantastic little player
(5 out of 5) by Rene Pawlitzek on Aug 23, 2008I am very happy with this tiny, well made, mp3 player. The sound quality is very good and excellent with Philips SHE775 headphones. It features a FM radio which has very good reception. The screen is 128 x 128 and a bit to small to watch video clips. You can record voices with the built-in microphone. It doesn't allow you to make your own playlists, but you can do the selection on the PC and then upload the music onto the player. Overall, I enjoy this player very much!

What customer service

But....
If you have problem installing it the first time good luck with customer service they knew about the product just as much as any one out there on the streets. I called them 3 times and all 3 times they said that i did not charge the unit even though it had been charging overnight for 2 days. I finally gave up with them and called a friend of mine who knew a bit about computers and MP3 players and got it to work for me.
But....
