I've been waiting to get my hands on one of these since they first released. I love it! Although not listed on Celio Corp, my Verizon 700W works fine. The only problem I've had so far is finding a thumb drive that the unit will read. Other than that, perfect! With all the power of the mobile phones these days, why carry a laptop around? My kids now call me 'Redfly'.
I have since upgraded to the HTC Titan and the Redfly experience has gotten even better! Products like this is why laptop manufacturers are going UMPC.

wow - can you live without this
I have the c8n and cannot live without it. This is the best smart phone enhancement that i've ever used. 10 out of 10
great for gps
i received my redfly and started to try out different programs right out of the box. i found the ones i use the most are google maps and my email. it seams like this was made for working as a big screen gps. very easy to get a quick look at where you are going. and email on it is even better.i help run a internet radio station and it helps getting email while we are away from the station. we can even remotely operate our station with it.this REDFLY is SOOOOOO COOL!
Awesome product!
I'll have to admit, when I first saw the RedFly, I was skeptical... I mean, what use would the typical user have for a portable keyboard and screen for a *cell phone*? And I support these devices daily, for our users, with them accessing them our secure email, but I still couldn't fathom the need.
But, we had at least a few users interested in the devices, so we bit the bullet and ordered first a couple of units for demo. No, we didn't do the demo thing through Celio, we purchased a couple. And we're glad we did. We've since bought ten more, and who knows, we may need still more. These little units are wonderful. The screens are clear, their adaptability is wonderful. And Celio is constantly coming out with more stuff, too.
When we pulled the little critter out of the box, we first charged it up, as you'd expect, and then connected it to the phone to see what it would do. We were instantly amazed at how well it handled web pages and Word documents. We then tried Excel spreadsheets on the phone and were equally impressed. Then it was time to grab a mouse...admittedly the touchpad is a bit small, but then, so is the device. That's to conserve space, which it does well. It recognized our generic optical mouse perfectly. We were connected via bluetooth, so we still had one USB port open, so we grabbed a generic driverless thumbdrive and plugged it in as well. Within seconds we were opening up documents on it as well.
We couldn't be happier with these units! The only thing to remember with them is that you need to check the supported phones, since Celio is always adding to that list, and to make sure that any USB thumbdrives you want to use don't have to have drivers. We've run into that as well with a few. As long as you keep those things in mind, you're in good shape. You can't go wrong with this one if you need a good way to do your office work remotely with a Windows Mobile phone.

RedFly - Who would use it?
When I first saw the product I thought "Who would use it?", and I heard that a lot from the phone podcasts. Once you get your hands on one it really clicks. Its a great device.
Pros
- Charge your phone and have remote access for 8+ hours. While at a remote site last week there was no AC power but had full EVDO signal, used it off and on for 3 days without charging the RedFly. The RedFly charged the phone while in use.
- I use it while on the road, as a passenger, not the driver. Much more portable than a laptop, MUCH longer battery life.
- Great for visiting family with dial-up access.
- I use it for flight planning when not sitting in an airport pilot lounge.
- It turns my HTC Touch into a mini laptop. It is amazing how Mobile Exchange, Word and the browser look on a VGA screen. When connected to the work exchange server its like working at my desk.
Cons
- The keyboard is smaller than normal. Can occasionally be a challenge with large hands. I'm getting better with my typing over time. Its one of the sacrifices of portability.
- AC plug is easy to pull out while charging. Its a very small AC adapter.
Overall, I think it is a great device. I will be carrying it with me while visiting family over Thanksgiving. They all have horribly slow dialup. I tend to get 500-800kbp/sec over EVDO while I'm there. I'll do a little Christmas shopping on the web during the slow times.... :-)
