I had this unit installed in March of 2008. It's been working fine. I bought my first ipod nano in December 2008. When I plug in my ipod an error code comes on the display. The stereo installer says Apple changed the software and therefore my new ipod won't work on the less than one year old stereo? Has anyone else had this problem?

I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a great deck. You won't find a better one for the value. If you have an ipod and are looking to use it with your system, this is the only way to go. It's very easy to navigate through your files using the deck's built in quick browser. I installed the Sony in my boat with a two amp system and hit the lake this weekend...no problems.

Although this product has worked well with my 3rd generation iPod Nano, I wouldn't recommend purchasing it now as it is incompatible with the 4th generation models.
