Cheaper and better than the real thing
Well this is sold as a replacement for the official battery you get from canon. It costs one fifth as much. So far so great.
The picture here indicates that it has the same capacity as the canon one: 1060mAh. That's not accurate. The one I received is marked 2000mAh. Twice as much capacity! Of course those things are not always accurate, but...well, it's holding up pretty well. It's hard to gauge because both of these batteries last so long in the XSI. But it definitely performs well.
In another location someone reviewed a generic replacement for this battery and said it was a slightly different size than the real one from canon and that you would have to pull it out with a toothpick or something. That's not true of mine. It fits perfectly and is exactly the same dimensions. It falls right out when you move the lever that holds it in place...just like the official canon version.
So besides capacity, what is different from the canon battery? This one is physically lighter.
Everything I've seen from this battery is better than the one canon sells. It's a real winner. I may just buy another one!

Good, not great
I ordered the batteries from SF Planet and they have a black label on the batteries indicating 2000mAh but they do not hold a charge as well as my Canon OEM 1060mAh battery. They seem to last only 75% of the time my 1060mAh battery lasts. It appears someone is trying to mislead buyers into thinking they are getting a much higher capacity battery when my guess is the battery is lower then 1060mAh. They were inexpensive so I'm factoring cost into my rating.

Battery for my rebel
Battery arrived not working. Contacted company and they sent a new one immediately and told me to dispose of the non working one. The replacement is working as it should. I'll buy another one from same company.

Did the job
I bought this for my Canon XSi and never had a problem, charges great, runs great and holds a good charge. No need to purchase a $60 canon brand when this does just as well.

Good Alternative to More Expensive Canon Battery Pack
I purchased mine from BuyAccessories for $13.94 including a shipping charge of $4.99, which I thought was a bit high, although it was shipped via first class and arrived in two days. Mine looks similar to the photo except it is rated at 1500mAh. It charged in about an hour and half and appears to work just as well as the Canon battery pack that came with the camera. This one fits nicely into my Canon XS, and I have no trouble removing it from the camera. Only time will tell how well this will continue to work, but for less than one third of the Canon battery pack, this is a good buy.
