This product did not last nine months. It wasn't in direct line of water but, of course, was in the shower. It just stopped working one day. Just stopped. New batteries obviously didn't fix the matter. This is too expensive not to last.
very satisfied
I am completely satisfied with the quality and price of this shower radio. It's another solid radio from Sony. The preset station feature is very handy in the shower. The size and shape of the radio allows you to put hang it or put in the corner of the tub...very convenient. Sound quality is very good and the antenna signal is awesome.
Nice little radio
I'm not using this in the shower -- I keep the radio on the bathroom countertop about 7 ft from my shower. It doesn't take much room and is convenient to use. It has buttons to select 5 radio stations on each band. The volume can get pretty loud -- I can hear it while I'm in the shower. The tone has a lot of base, which is good for music but a bit muffled when listening to news stations. The time display is a little dim, but not bad if I'm wearing my glasses.
Sony CD/Radio for the shower. Great Item!
This is probably the best item of its kind.
I haven't tried other brands, but everything in the Sony works flawless.
It actually makes the whole shower experience some else. Singing in the shower have never been that fun!!!

Phony Product! NOT Water-resistant!
All the shortcomings described by previous reviewers are true: LCD panel is poorly lit, light blue and white background don't work well with water and light in any bathroom. But most importantly the shower CD is not suitable for a shower room unless it is sitting in a glass sealed jar. The moment this piece of technological [...] gets wet, it is as good as dead. Monumental waste of money! And of course, the lousy warranty or I should say lack thereof, will you leave soaked! My "shower CD" could not stand getting wet and just died. All attempts at revivival were futile.
