Excellent product,especially if you need the larger buttons and larger display. Would highly recommend it.

I purchased this phone for $25. It works as well as a corded phone should. Two issues. It requires batteries for the caller ID display, and goes through them fairly quickly. It has no option for an A/C cord. I can hear other people reasonably well through the speakerphone, but they have a hard time hearing me, unless I am right next to the phone.

This is a terrific phone -particularly for someone with failing eyesight or hearing. I love it.
It arrived very soon (thank you) after the order.
The only flaw is that it's hard to tell if the handset is completely hung up - that is straight on the cradle. Sometimes I hear the loud beeping that indicates that the handset is askew and so did not close the last connection.
Still the best phone of its kind that I've tried so far!

I ordered this model specifically because it did not use A/C power. The shipper sent me model GE29369GE1, which uses A/C. They claimed that the phone which I ordered was discontinued, so they shipped the unordered model instead. Subsequently, they offered a 25% discount on the shipped model. I refused the offer and returned the phone. If the phone has been discontinued, why is it still being offered?

We bought this phone a couple years ago and when the speaker button gave out we purchased another one. Great phone at a great price. Easy to set up and use.
