DO NOT BUY A SONY

(1 out of 5) by Laura Pinni on Aug 16, 2009 (Baltimore, USA)
DO NOT BUY A SONY!
my mps lasted 7 months and if I want to repair it it was costing as buying a new one
it just stopped working suddenly and when I tried to take my music out of it, it turned off completely
I never had such a terrible experience, it was supposed to work 1 YEAR!!! the warranty is useless after 90 days instead!!!
the worst customer support ever!!and the product is just crap!

Like old times, Sony is back

(5 out of 5) by Sergio Basilides Pascual on Aug 10, 2009 (Caracas)
Excellent sound, the headphones are really good, the FM tuner perfect. The only thing I considerer Sony must check it, is the silicone ear buds. I lost one of them at the second day. The replacement is not clear, and if you buy Sony replacements you have to buy others sizes that you are not interested, and the price: [...] bucks! for something of one cent cost is too much.
I think, in a near future, Sony, with the same quality have to sell a 32gb MP3 player, with a good price-marketing, so The IPod's kingdom will start to shake. This Mp3 player remembers me when Sony was worried about the sound's quality. Remember DATs and the series E. Those were the days.
Now, in this tiny MP3 player, I can say with a 256 kps you will have a really excellent sound. Bravo Sony, we all hope you will be back to the time you were reference.

Be careful, I am talking about series 7. Forget about the series 4.

Awesome Product By Sony Except For One Flaw

+: I bought this MP-3 player when it was on sale for $130...that's 35% off of the $200 regular price tag. This walkman is small but not too small. It fits in my pockets and hands very nicely...though I do have small hands. The buttons should be easy to use even for someone with large fingers. This walkman has perfect volume and vast storage. This product is made nearly perfectly (see negatives below).

-: I bought this product in January of 2009 and used it while walking to my college. Once at school I placed the walkman and its special noise-cancelling earbuds into my jacket pocket. Just this summer I noticed that there were some scratches on my screen. Evidently the earbuds are partly metal and the edges are sharp and exposed so that if you place them into the same pocket as your walkman they will eventually scratch the screen. Luckily for me I only managed to get 2 small scratches, but I will never place the earbuds into the same pocket as the walkman again. Just thought that I should warn all of you potential buyers. Possible options to avoid what happened to me would be to buy a screen protector or different earbuds.

silver is the way to go

The style is nice and the noise cancellation works really well. Only bad is that the headphones are made specially for the mp3 so it won't work with any other headphone jack. easy to handle and light. a good buy overall.

Great Price at $39

So easy to use! Easy to read screen. The ear pieces that come with it sound better than an IPOD. I even use the radio (for news) more than I thought. Battery life is fantastic, goes for days without needing recharging. I have an MP3 bible loaded on it and it is easy to navigate to book and chapter. The video screen is sharp and bright.
