There is just one downside to this case that I have come across: It does not seal all around the GPS leaving places for dirt and grime to get in. I also have the gray padded tomtom case that zips closed. Although not as "fancy" as this carry case, it is more functional for keeping the GPS safe from the elements.

This case quickly and easily solves two big problems for TomTom One v.3 GPS owners. First, it (as any case should) protects the screen from potential scratches and general damage. Second, it makes taking your GPS with you quick and easy. While the first aspect is a no-brainer, the second one might be a little less obvious. With the zippered cases I've found that it's often more difficult to insert the unit and you're left with a bulky piece to carry around. With this case, the thin (but not too thin) leather lets you slip the case in without adding any noticeable bulk. Additionally, the included leather wrist strap attaches directly to the TomTom so there's no chance of dropping your GPS. As for closure, there is a leather flap that comes over the top of the GPS and closes on the front with a magnetic closure. This prevents pressing on the screen to close a snap. I do not believe this case is the right choice for someone who's looking to prevent all of that "dirt and grime" from getting into the unit, however if you -- like me -- are concerned with scratching the sensitive touch screen while maintaining portability, this is the best option currently available.

Liked the way it perfectly fits in with ur TomTom.Worthy investment to keep ur GPS in good state.I would prefer it costed less...

The strap is not leather, the lock and button on strap are plastic, inside cushioning - synthetic. If you buy leather case, you want it to be a top notch quality and materials, but this isn't the case.

Though still it does the job - to protect the little TomTom..:)

This carrying case came as a bonus for buying a refurb. TomTom. I bought the TomTom as a Christmas present for my son. The TomTom did not work and we had to send it back. Instead of taking a chance by buying another refurb TomTom unit, I decided to buy a mid-level priced Garmin (3 members of our family all use the Garmin with never a problem) and now we use this TomTom One case as the case for the Garmin Nuvi. I have complaints about our Nuvi cases because they are merely slip style cases that will allow the GPS to fall out if tipped the wrong way (ouch) and this case has a nice strap that holds the GPS in and a hand strap to hold it. It works beautifully. I would buy this case for the Garmin Nuvi and the Garmin Nuvi for this case. ;o)
