The SP04 Shockmount for the G Track USB Mic is well constructed and simple to use. The user should, however, be cautious when connecting the Samson G Track Mic to the Shockmount because the inner sleeve of the microphone, if not tight, can easily come out when you try to unscrew the Shockmount housing connection. Although there are no threads that would logically allow this to happen, it can happen because the Mic and the Shockmount are so "snug" fitting! When you try to unscrew the mic, the inner sleeve of the mic becomes attached to the shock mount and comes out with the shockmount! All in all this is a very nicely manufactured shockmount. It is very functional and looks great with the Samson G Track Mic.

As good if not better then anything else out there at a fraction of the cost! I use it for many different mics with standard thread. -rl

I had a basic mount that came with the Samson mic I received for Christmas. Unfortunately it broke after just a few months. The new shockmount is not only more sturdy, but the sound is better too!

this is a great itme to have it you are trying to record and hold a mic...I got it for my husband along with a few others items and he loved it.

The produce was sent with a broken wire. I will need to order another one.
