You get what you pay for, but good customer service...

You definitely get what you pay for. This is an okay product but not perfect. I had no problems converting video as others did. I just downloaded the update as the seller suggested. The screen sensitivity is a little temperamental, seemingly switching from very sensitive to almost non responsive. The interface is nowhere as pretty as that of the iPod Touch making it a bit difficult to navigate through music. The "eBook" viewer, as they call it, is misnamed since it doesn't actually display eBooks, it reads .txt files. The worst thing is the external speaker. Mine actually freaked out the day after I received it, issuing a loud sound which sounds like a scream. I chose not to return it though because for the day it did work, you can barely hear it, even at full volume. On the plus side, it worked just fine with the 2gb micro SD card I had with the addition of a micro to mini adapter. This product can be compared to the iPod Touch in the same way a Jetta can be compared to a Porche. But if your expectations aren't that high and you're looking for a decent sub-$100 MP4 player, this is for you.

UPDATED: I wound up sending it back after I discovered that the radio also didn't work. The company responded quickly to my e-mail and said that they would replace it. Just got the new one, and so far it's working great.

4g is alot of space. im only using about 2.2 and thats 450 songs. the head phones are great and the mp3/4 player is easy to use. just plug it into your computer and sync with your windows media player...or just copy the music from file to the divice...perfect for mobile music

Great MP4 Player

(5 out of 5) by Eric Tuttle on Jul 17, 2008 (Tempe, AZ)
First of all I dont see why everybody is giving bad reviews. This player is fantastic, It is 1/6 the price of an ipod touch so you have to start out with at least a little lower expectations, but really this player is great at what it is made to do. Which is play music, play videos, and show photos.

Music is so easy to transfer, but their is not orginization if you just drag and drop. I solved this easily, by making folders with A-Z and puting songs in these folders. It sounds great, and has EQ.

Video play great, the sound and picture play great at high quality. Their is a problem with the converter, but can be easily fixed by copy and pasting a file into the avi converter file. This file can be found in the description of this video, [...]
Photos are standard which is good, it can show many photo format.

Touch Screen can take a little bit to get used to, just a day or two, but other than that it is not bad(it's actually good.) not only for a player this cheap but for any touch screen.

Overall this Player is great for me, I wanted something that could play music and videos well, Touch Screen because its cool, and something that had expandable memory so I could keep multiple movies and all my music with me, I am getting a couple mini sd cards. WiFi is a very cool feature but honestly I would not use it that much and I don't think it is worth $240 more. This player is great and also comes it FM radio.

Awesome in Every Way! Not a SINGLE problem.

(5 out of 5) by M. Manzo on Nov 13, 2008
I received this item, wary of some complaints customers have had, and let me say: This thing rocks! It packs an amazing amount of features for the price. I've already beat the thing to heck in back (Had a hard crash on my PC while it was still plugged in) and it works great. Never freezes, touchscreen has good sensitivity (after calibration).

The battery charger is quick and easy to use, the video converting software from the company website is lightweight and does it's job. The video playback quality is great, and the included earbuds are good as well. The only con is the external speaker (not that good) but I never use that anyway.

I really like how simple it is to load music, plug it in, then drag and drop MP3 files. No special software needed.

If you are thinking about buying this but are scared by some of the bad reviews - get it. This isn't a $300 iPod touch, so don't expect one. This is an inexpensive awesome touchscreen media player.

Great Product

(4 out of 5) by Sherri Thomas on Aug 30, 2008 (Saraland, AL)
I purchased this item a couple of months ago for my birthday and I had problems with it shutting off. I emailed Pro Ebiz and they responded within two hours and we went over the problem and they had me ship it back. I received a new one within the week with an extra charger and an USB cable as we believe that is what was shorting it out. No matter how much you spend on any item, sometimes you are going to get a bad one and have to return it, including a vehicle. But I have had my new one for about a month and it works great and the customer service and response time I received was exceptional and I highly recommend this product to anyone.
