Amazing Brand, Quality, AND Price!

(5 out of 5) by B. Davis on May 28, 2008 (STL)
I personally bought this package at Circuit City for $184 (including wiring kit). i hooked them up today and let me tell you. they sound INCREDIBLE. this is the best $200 ever spent. i probably would have payed $400 for them. truly quality subs. i have a little '94 Civic and they fit perfectly in the trunk. great sound and great bump. in the end i may shoot for a stronger amp though. the speakers are better than the mono amp included. but the amp really makes them punch!
BUY THIS! GREAT DEAL!

Good Starter Set

(4 out of 5) by Josh M. Anthony on Jun 19, 2008 (Ft. Wayne, IN USA)
The speakers, for what it is worth, sound pretty good. They will shake you in the car, but it isn't going to be felt more than a few feet from the car or anything like that. If you will notice, it doesn't say how big the amp is. This was a circuit city black friday ad a couple years ago, and they don't list the wattage of the amp either, so it is a mystery. Still, for the price they are very nice and I am pleased with them. I have them hooked up with the mystery amp, and they hit pretty hard in the car. They are a good starter set. As for long term use, I don't know, as I have only had them hooked up for a few days. So far, I am happy with them, and I would recommend them to someone who wants a little more bump in their audio for not a lot of cash.

Bad Amp

(2 out of 5) by Christopher Tran on Feb 8, 2009
The amplifier only has 250watts, once it's plugged in. It'll only work for about a few minutes. It doesn't have enough power to power both subwoofers. I would recommend an anp that would power to 750watts

Not too Shabby!!!

(4 out of 5) by Joseph T. Emmons on Aug 8, 2008 (Gulf Breeze, FL)
This item is definetly worth the $150.00. It sounds ok I guess if it goes into a car that is seperated from the trunk by a back seat but sounds much better in an suv or hatchback. I bought one for a 2003 Ford Mustang but had to get a bigger amp to push the speakers hard enogh to hear them well.
