Beware!! I've been an Apple lover since the Mac Plus. This is their worst product yet! Well, if you are a next gen gamer at all that is. The Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii are not compatible with this base station. Works great if you are just using it with your Macs, but try and get your consoles to connect to the Timecapsule and you will just be frustrated. Some how Apple has changed something to make it so you can't connect. All my gaming systems work fine with my Airport Extreme base station, but I could not get them to keep a connection with the Time Capsule. I've packed my up and it's going back to Best Buy.

Not sure why this product is selling for $499 on Amazon when it is $299 from Apple (maybe its a misprint?). I opened my Time Capsule today, followed all the instructions to set it up, it says congratulations your tc has been installed so you can use the internet and your usb printer, and then it didnt work. It would connect in my shared folder but sometimes when I changed the view in the finder it would say original TC not found. Then it would say can not mount TC and then I clicked ok. This message popped up about 20 times and then finally disappeared. I set up time machine and it would ask for the password on the TC and then TM would just turn off. Talked to three different people at Apple that couldnt help me and I am now returning it. Sounds like a lot of people are liking the TC based on the Amazon reviews but beware: You may have problems with this product. Check out the apple support page for the time capsule to see all the problems people are having before purchasing. I should have waited to purchase until all the bugs are worked out. . .

I rate TOYZZ as 5star for its superior and sudden customer-friendly service. Their immediate, courteous and successful response to my request for assistance in resolving a problem with my order is a great credit to their management.

i lost nearly 2 days trying to set up stupid time capsule with a macbook and a windows XP....without success....just not worth loosing time with it....apple is overtaken with its commercial success and badly tested this stupid time capsule

I bought a Airport Extreme just back in august based on the promise of wireless backups. The removed feature from Leopard is wrong. Apple owes those that purchased the airports in the period after Steve's announcement a free/ discounted upgrade. I called first to make sure I understood the feature and was later removed after I bought.
