Solid stand
I received my stand today. Overall, very positive impression. As others have mentioned, it's is fairly easy to put together. I have seen a few other cheaper stands and the quality difference is obvious. What I really like about this stand is that there are very few pieces. The center portion you see is essentially one piece. The grating on the back is already in tact. The build is very solid and the stand is sturdy. The overall look of the stand is sleek and professional.
I had the unit shipped to me from Amazon via FedEx. Not as many issues as one of the other users. However, the bottom flap was open, but nothing was missing.
My main concern with the unit is the cable management system. Cables from dvd players, etc. slip through the holes visible in the picture. These holes are well protected, with rubber pieces so wires are not severed. However, the second part of the cable management system are vertical covers, which have slits in them at the top and bottom. My two concerns are that the metal edges are not covered (they are not sharp, but probably still should be covered with something) and that the slits are too shallow, not allowing thick cables to be put inside the covers. However, the cables can be placed on the outside of the covers and zip ties can be used to secure cables to the cover.
My only gripe is that there was some paint chipped on one of the glass-holding lips. This is not visible when all put together. I know I'm nitpicking, but you have to with as much as it costs.

Sharp looking and well built!
I ordered this to mount a 52" LCD on and absolutely love it...looks great and the build quality is excellent! However, Amazon really needs to ship it in a little better packaging. My box arrived with holes all over it and all of the "nuts and bolts" were rattling in the box when I tried to move it. All I pictured in my mind was the glass shelves being in little pieces. As it turned out, everything was ok except for a few plastic end pieces which are not really needed anyway. It really took a beating in shipping, but the product itself is excellent!

Product is great, shipping was horrible
The stand was very easy to assemble, with all hardware included. It is exactly as depicted in the photos, so there are no surprises.
My only problem was with the shipping. The box looked like it got water logged and was literally falling apart with gaping holes. I was told tht the FedEx guys were hesitant about moving it around in their own facility! My first instinct was to refuse delivery, but the agent recommended that since the glass arrived safely, it would be easier to have the factory send any missing pieces than to have the whole item shipped again. Fortunately, everything I needed for assembly made the journey, despite only half of the box making it!

Well built stand
The stand is absolutely awesome. Very well built and easy to put together. Mine currently holds a 46 inch Sony Bravia LCD.
Shipping package could have been better but it got the job done. Expect to have styrofoam all over the place when you unpack it.
Only thing that could be better is if the TV mount was adjustable and not fixed.

Great upgrade
I have had this for about a month now and I am impressed with the way it looks. I was looking for something that had a little height for the TV and had a bit of design sense and no wood. It only took about a half hour to put together, but mine came with some of the packaging for some of the hardware open; not a big deal since nothing was missing. The stand is sturdy and does not wobble, and for the price I would expect this, I am not disappointed. There is a good choice of height and the extra hardware makes it extremely versatile when adapting the mounting brackets to your TV. The instructions were pretty good, but I am pretty handy when comes to things like this. The only thing I would note is that after you put it together, becareful when moving it. The guides that hold and hide the wires slide pretty easy. They lock into place by sliding them in slots and hooking them down. Also I wish that there was a bit more room within the guides, depending on how many and how thick your cables are, it gets crowed quick and can take some finagling to get them to fit in the guides. Good purchase overall and pretty happy.
