Does not support most wav formats

(3 out of 5) by JW on Aug 17, 2009
I bought this player specifically to play wav files. Amazon's website states that wav is one of the support file formats. However, my wav files were not recognized. I looked at the FAQ on the products website and they state that only wav files in IMA_ADPCM format are recognized. However, even after converting my to this type the device still does not recognize the wav files.

If you need wav format don't rely on this product. My previous (and more expensive) iaudio plays wav just fine and I suggest it instead.

Missing functionality

(4 out of 5) by Matthieu Hausig on Apr 13, 2009 (Brooklyn, NY)
Its small and cheap with plenty of storage and decent file support. Unfortunately, the organization and software are subpar. Sound is decent as long as you avoid the headphones that come with it. Overall, its an ok budget choice but the interface could prove frustrating to use over time.

Conservative

Once you get the hang of it this is wonderful. I love it. I charge it, download music, and I am off. I exercise everyday and it keeps me going. Well worth the money and the amount of space I have only one-fourth of it used up. Highly recommend this product!

Better Than Sansa

I bought this on impulse when it was gold box deal and I like it. We mostly use it in the car through using an FM transmitter and it works well.
