IPod Cable

(2 out of 5) by C. Rueckert on Jan 30, 2009
Cheap made cable. It seems to work, but it takes longer to charge my IPod using this cable vs the one that came with the Ipod.

Works fine, just not as smooth & sexy as Apple's Cord

I really didn't feel like paying what Apple asks for their iPod/iPhone cords, so I bought a couple of these. They work fine, but the end that goes into the iPod/iPhone is a little larger & klunkier than Apple's low profile plug. This means that if you're trying to plug it into an iPhone or iPod Touch that is wearing a case, it might not fit all the way through the opening at the bottom of the case, causing it to not "click" in and lock all the way. At least this has been my experience.

Good cable!

Cheap, fast delivery, very reliable and it looks just like the official one, can't go wrong with this one.

It's cheap, it works.

My cat ate two of my sync cables. I bought two of these to replace the ones that I lost. I have never had any syncing or charging problems when using this products. It's cheap, a hell of a lot cheaper than Apple's or big name third-party cables, and to me they perform the same.

Small personal downsides: I wish the cable was not a "locking" cable but was more similar to some that I've seen that don't lock into the iPhone or iTouch. The price is a steal, but when I tried to order 10 of them, the shipping was almost $30.00 and that just seemed disjointed to me. I probably wouldn't have been so adverse to the total price, when buying a large quantity, if the product price was switched with the s/h cost, you can chalk that up to my own little s/h idiosyncrasy.

Overall, if you want a sync cable and you don't want to pay crazy prices then this cable will fit the bill.

Works just as well as the Apple cable

(5 out of 5) by Kaye Day on Nov 5, 2009
Our original Apple cable suddenly quit working and we had no way to charge my iTouch 1st gen. I had never had to buy this cable before so I was shocked that Apple was charging $20 for it. I found this one online and thought for the price I would give it a try. It has worked just as well as the original cable, charging my iTouch just as quickly and easily. I bought 2 so that I would have a backup this time. The package arrived 3 days after my purchase without expidited shipping. So far it performs just as well as my original and I am very happy with my purchase.
