The cut out holes are a tad too low on this case, but not enough that it affects usability. Maybe it'll slide into place over time, as the case breaks in. Overall I'm very happy with it - well made, fits my ipod snugly, and it's stylish. Compared to others I browsed, this seemed to be one of the highest quality options for the price.
P.S. Avoid covercase.com at all costs! I ordered from them initially, never received my order, and never heard back from customer service. Luckily I got my money back with help from PayPal.

ipod case
This is a sturdy little case with a plastic shield to protect the ipod screen. There is nothing over the wheel, so nothing restricts it from working properly. Most importantly, it's easy to slide the ipod in and out for docking.
Great Case for new 120 classic
this is a great case. I was unsure if it would fit the 120, as it is slimmer than the 80 classic. but, Perfect fit!. The small cut-away at the headphone port is perfect to easily open & close the flip lid with the cord plugged in.

Fit & Cute
I was looking for a case that would perfectly fit my new Ipod Classic 80G rather than the one that fits various generations. This is a perfect fit and its also sooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!

Fit waaaay too tight
I purchased this for my 5th Gen 80G iPod Classic. I needed to replace a silicone case that I have used for the last few years. I recently purchased an iPod clock radio and the iPod would not fit with the case on. The silicone case was dificult to put back on once removed and I did not want to have to do that every morning.
When I received the Caselogic Satin Strip Case, I liked it. It is attractive; just as nice as the picture makes it seem. With a bit of effort, I was able to get the iPod in the case. Immediately I noticed, that the opening for the touch pad as well as the screen window were not placed right. They were a bit too low. Since I watch video, I knew this would be a problem.
The biggest problem came when I tried to remove the iPod from the case. It would not budge more than 1/8 of an inch or so. Even my husband could not get it out. We finally had to take a knife and cut the leather on the side just to get the iPod out, ruining any chance I had of returning it. Complete waste of $16.
If you want a permanent case for your 5th Gen iPod, then this might work for you. Otherwise, avoid it.
