This item will NOT work with the LG Env3. You get sound through one speaker. If you jiggle and play with it, you can get it to almost work, but hit a bump, and you're back to square one. Do NOT buy this for the ENV3. I've looked all over for one that does work, and turns out, the one I bought at The Shack works. Cost a bit more, but it's the one you want for this phone. Of course, the sellers sell this ridiculously cheap, with higher shipping, so you won't return it. Guess I'm stuck with a paper weight.

I have an LG VX8360 cell phone, and I bought this because I thought it would allow me to use standard headphones (that is, headphones without an attached microphone). Doesn't work. I get only one channel of audio. I'm sure the adapter itself is fine, but it's not the right adapter for this cell phone.

A lot of people are giving this product a poor rating/review and I just want to make some clarifications. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this adapter. I ordered one and is working great. A lot of issues have to due with sound output, and it is of no fault of the adapter but of the person's lack of knowledge for their audio device (phones,mp3 players and etc). Go on Google find what's compatible with YOUR device, check to see if your device uses a 3 ring or a 2 ring (this adapter has 3 rings). Giving this product a poor rating because you bought a 3 ring adapter for a 2 ring device is no fault of the product, but of your own. The only set-back is perhaps the price- 5 dollars shipping? A grand total of $7 dollars. The adapter didn't even come in a plastic bag or box, it sat loosely in the post office envelope.

This product works as needed.

When I purchased my LG Versa, I was a little bit frustrated that it didn't have the standard 3.5mm jack, but this little adapter works great.

Audio quality still stays nice, not too big, nice form factor.

I needed a little adapter so I could use my LG Rumor to play music through the car's radio, and this little trick worked just beautifully. It's small, cheap, and it works perfectly. It also seems like playing music through your phone's headset jack actually IMPROVES the audio quality. If I ever lost mine, I would buy this again.

I recommend this very strongly.
