Nice little netbook, but the keys are too small for my already small hands, and the touch pad is not that great. The Linux OS is OK, but I think windows would be better.
good
The notebook was great, but unfortunatley make sure you get passwords if you order something like this. I can't do certain things because of the password that was already assigned :( But the natebook is in 'like new' condition and I recieved it in a couple of days.

Good laptop for surfing but has limits
I like Linux but I could not figure out how to install my XP compatable software. I think you can install and use it on Linux but I just could not figure it out. If you just want to surf the net for cheap you will be happy with this. If you want to download file from the internet you may have to store them on a flash drive. I bought this and returned it and got a ASUS with XP and 120GB hard drive, 1.6 MHz, 6 Hour battery instead.
I needed a small computer
Pro's:
Small, lightweight, portable with good screen resolution. Good sound thru headphones.
Con's:
No optical drive, keyboard not easy with big hands. With I should have gone with the 8G model.
General:
I changed the OS to eee Xubuntu which feels more familiar although not much more useful.
I carry the eee along with an external dvd burner, 110V and 12V(an option) power cords, an external HDD and a few discs in a Targus dvd carry case.
Very portable.

Lotsa Fun!
Love this little guy! It's lightning fast and oh so user friendly! If you are looking for a high tech toy that anyone can use, this is it! Even Grandma can easily access the internet and learn to use the software. It is definitely NOT a full size lap top. Keep that in mind! The keyboard is small, as is the memory. It is what it is and it is a truly awesome product! I also have bought a Dell Mini 9, and while I liked the keyboard better, the loss of speed and the lack of user friendliness makes the Ee PC a much better choice.
