super overcloking
(5 out of 5) by Javier Marcano on Sep 25, 2008estas memorias son muy muy muy aptas para el overclock. las tengo de 800Mhz a 960MHz y están super estables con latencia de 5-5-5-15 con voltajes regulados por la tarjeta madre. se que pueden llegar a mucho mas pero deseo mantener la sincronía con mi procesador E6750 a 3.2Ghz

Great ram, but huge heathspreader

The Good:
The heathspreaders/heathsinks are HUGE.
They OC'ed to 1066 5-5-5-15 really easy, I'm sure they may go over 1100 at 5-5-5-15 or stay at 4-4-3-12 under 1000Mhz
The Bad:
The heathspreaders/heathsinks are HUGE.
They WONT fit under the corsair/ocz ram fans.
They WONT fit on all memory slots (each dimm is too "fat" so you cannot place 4 of them on a normal mobo) unless you want to risk your mobo memory sockets life.
However, you can place them next to normal ram.
I was able to place 2 dimms of this OCZ with 2 dimms of Corsair dominator (they are tall but thin) to get to 6GB (had to sell the other ReaperX kit to a friend).
As I said, theres no way to fit 2 of this OCZ ReaperX next to each other since the are too thick.
