My daughter got me one for my birthday. Despite the small and confusing buttons I had no trouble in loading up music. The sound was OK, I swim off the coast of Maui, and two days later the unit had a short.
Customer service were helpful and replaced the unit . However the second one suffered the same fate, and after a few days shorted out.
Unless you swim in the air, do not buy this product. It is simply NOT water proof.

awesome
this is the best thing that ever happened to my swim workout. having music to entertain me during all those laps everyday makes it fun, especially when swimming indoors in the winter. the ear buds are very comfortable and keep out the water. the player fits right onto my goggle band and I never notice it during workout. i keep it on my side opposite breathing side. it is easy to load music onto from my computer (takes only a couple seconds to upload an hour of music). you can organize the song order on your computer-i make song lists for it on itunes. it is easy to turn on and off and adjust volume even while it is on your head. i like how simple it is, i just get in the pool, hit a button by my ear, and off i go.
Realy great
To swim listening to my preffered songs is something I've allways dreamed of. This is the perfect underwather MP3 player for me. Fit well in the ear, good soud, clear, with fair bass. Battery life last long and is very strong. Besides, it's light to wear in the googles and has a prize winning great design.
so much better than nothing
but the damn earplugs are a real problem. hear that, nu people? how about a better pair of earplugs?
I had the same problem everyone is reporting-- sound cutting in and out during vigorous swim and now the right one seems to have given up.
what a tease because I sure do love it when it works!!!

sounded great for the first 30 seconds
after two lengths of the pool, the right channel got really muffled and distorted. then if stopped working and never came back. sending it back.
