I suggest you pay a little more and purchase the SwimP3
It really is a nice little product, compact, light and simple, however it is totally useless to me because the ear plugs allow water to flood my ears and I cannot hear anything. Really I just wasted 100 dollars that I should have put towards the Finis SwimP3 which does not require ear plugs. I wrote to the company and was informed that the plugs they sent are the only ones available.
In retrospect, if you look at the reviews of the assorted waterproof MP3 devices, leaky ear plugs and faulty ear plugs seem to be a common complaint. The ear plugs sent with the Dolphin are only guaranteed for three months, which should tell you something. Really, while fooling around with the wires and the ear plugs (all attached to the strap of my gogles)prior to my swim, I was already thinking that there was really no way for them to hold up if I used them often. The wires are just too fragile.
Sorry to blast the Dolphin, I just think the SwimP3 is the right idea for a submersible unit. The play through the skull concept is the same as that used by scuba divers for underwater communication.

It's actually pretty good.
Most other water-proof MP3 players are big and bulky. I was interested int he bone conductive one but in the end I went with the Nu Dolphin since I didn't think I'd enjoy having two bricks on either side of my head.
I was a little apprehensive with the purchase and still am about customer service since it's not a U.S.-based company but so far the Dolphin has been awesome.
The mp3 player itself is really small and I just attach it to the middle of the goggle strap behind my head. I don't even take it off because it's kind of a hassle and just unscrew the headphones after it's dry to charge or load in different songs.
The earphones are canalphones. Meaning they go deeper into your ear than your typical earbuds but once they're in you can forget about them for 2-3 hours or however long your swim. They aren't as high quality as the mp3 player itself. The wires are a bit thin but the sound quality is pretty good. I wish the volume went up higher but I listen to my music pretty loud. Almost all the way up on a 2nd gen ipod nano.
I've been just putting the extra wire lengths under the goggle strap but that's probably not good for the wires so I'll try using the little clips that come with it.
Overall it's a bit pricey, I got it for $90 elsewhere but definitely a worthwhile investment because swimming laps is amongst the most boring activities on earth and if music helps motivate you, why not.
I don't think there is a repeat option... there are only 5 buttons total, one center and one to either direction. But you'll get used to the button arrangement where you can just press "back" at the end of a song easily.
4.5/5 is my review. It's not perfect but it's the absolute best when it comes to waterproof mp3s at the moment. It's extremely small and doesn't affect your swimming. I wish the headphone wires were the same length on both sides (pet peeve of mine). I guess they expect you to wear the dolphin on the side of your head.

Good product, good results
I really like this MP3 player. The sound quality is much better than several other waterproof MP3 players I have tried. I have had no trouble with the earphones, they fit perfectly in my ears (I am a girl with normal ears). I do wish that the headphones had a longer cord because I don't normally wear goggles and I would prefer other options than attaching the MP3 to my goggles or shoving it in my swim cap.

Cool looking thing, but didn't quite work in the pool
I loved the design, the shape, the amount of storage, however it just didn't work for me in the pool. The ear pieces on the headphones were coming off or licking water and I couldn't hear much. I gave up on this product after two practices. I assume it may work for somebody with smaller ears (I'm a pretty tall guy and maybe have a little bigger than average ears??). The package came with three spare pairs of the headphone ear plugs, it might've been a good idea to include a couple of different sizes of these plugs.

Really cool
I love it! now my swimming time is no longer boring. I only need to charge for a few hours and the battery lasts for 20hrs!
