Excellent
This is excellent device.
Play all region. Region does not need to be set.
Pal/NTSC. Divx, VCD. DVD +RW/-RW and others no problem.
Devise is pretty fast and tolerant to disks quality.
Highly recommend it.

Only good words, a rly good purchase
Rly happy with this product, bought it few months back since I've read that the Panasonic has pb the best upscaling quality on the market and the DV-400 or DV-410 were not that available.
And I am impressed with it. It is basically an DVD player that is region free and does a damn good job at upscaling (tried some media centers and a laptop w/ HDMI output - the DV-600 is definitely better).
Also of the reasons for which I choose the DV-600 is tha optical output that was no longer available w/ the DV-410 model. I know that there should be no difference between digital coax and optical but I had problems w/ coax in the past.
Another extra feature that the 600 series have is sound virtualisation: it'll make even a simple stereo AVI sound more or less 5.1, while also providing some advanced settings for the speakers.
so, highly recommended, great value for the money.
