Fast Enough, but not as fast as some others
I own an older Canon, and have two 1 gig cards I use all the time. One is a Kodak, and the other is a Sandisk. Rather than go by what others say, I put all three to a test. You can try this with your cards. How many pictures can I shoot in one minute. Well I was surprised that the new '133X' card was not as fast as my 'old' cards. They were about 10% faster. Not so much that I want to downgrade my 5 stars, because 8gig is way nicer than 1gig. I can shoot over 2 gigs on a good birdwatching day even when shooting JPGs. I got this card to try shooting more RAWs.
Cheap, decent speed!
I had used the SanDisk 8GB Ultra II, which is much faster than this one, because of the price, so I got this one, the speed is little bit slower than SanDisk 8GB Ultra II. you will see the speed is slower when you're shooting continuous 5 FPS on your DSLR camera. Well, I can't complaint, this is the price of what I get:) However if you don't use continuous mode that much, this card should work fine.
performs as stated
Will store over 400 raw+jpg shots on my Canon XTI...over 1000 of just .jpg...I've had no problem with the card so far...
Quality card
Purchased this card to complement my Kingston ultimate 266X and another elite pro 4GB which I use in my 40D. While not quite as fast as the ultimate card, this card keeps up with the fast 6.5 fps of the 40D. A very cost effective card which I have found to be extremely dependable.
Quality product but more expensive than expected.
The product works fine. There is nothing to distinguish it from the others out there except price. These types of products are a commodity; it surprises me they are still so expensive. I would base the purchase of this type of memory card on the price...although Kingston products are good quality (I've used many in the past) it's just a standard memory card. For those of you unfamiliar with various types of storage media, you might find that you need a PCMCIA card adapter to use this in your computer. For example, if you are buying the compact flash to put in a picture frame you might want to put it in your computer to load first. If so, you might find that your computer has a PCMCIA slot but not a compact flash slot.
