Slow Card!
The 8GB Kingston elite pro card offers a lot of GB for the buck but it is pretty slow. The slowness shows up in the time it takes to record an image. Using a Sony 350 DSLR set to take 14GB jpeg images, there is no perceptible delay for the first few images. Once the camera's internal buffer is full, each subsequent picture takes about 1.5 seconds to record to the card. The delay is about 4.4 seconds when the camera is set to take RAW images. In comparison, a 2 GB SanDisk Ultra II takes 0.7 second to record Jpeg and 1.5 seconds for RAW. The delay also shows up when viewing images on the camera's LCD, which can take up to several seconds. I bought two of these Kingston cards and the Sony camera about a week before leaving on vacation, during which I took over 3000 images. Except for being slow, which was very annoying, there were no other problems with the cards. Back home I measured the delay times using a stop watch. Amazon refers to these card's "ultra fast transfer rate"; that certainly wasn't my experience. I'd like to give the cards back to Amazon but they are past the return date.

Slow....
This memory is very very slow, when you take few pictures there is no problem, when your take many photos it becomes slower after 3.5gb it start to delay alot. I'm saving RAW format each picture is like 13mb, many times I had to wait to take another shot. If you turn off your camera until it is saving you will loss your picture.

Cheap drive
I purchased 3 brands of cards for use as replacement drives in my old Mac G3's. I figured the faster card speeds are similar to the original ata/ide drives. My old drives are all failing and getting harder to find in small sizes. I used the Ultra CF to IDE Adapter purchased here at Amazon for the interface. All cards easily formatted as Mac drives. I was able to boot os x on a blue and white G3 with this card, but it was VERY slow. Using a 2g Sandisk ExtremeIII and booting os 9 was faster than my original drive. I am now using the 8 g Kingston as the second drive where it performs adequately,if not speedily.I am disappointed in the speed as I thought the 133 would be as fast as my old drives. (20/30 mbs?). In closing, I am satisfied with the drive as it does work in this use and this combo gave me a 10g solid state antique Mac!

Too slow for me
This memory card takes quite awhile to save pics from my Canon XTi. My SanDisk Ultra seems much faster. It has locked up on me once while it was saving pics. I had to pull out the memory card because it wouldn't let my camera turn off since it said it was still trying to save a photo.
