The connector does not hold a solid connection

This cable connects very loosely to the FW800 port and sometimes loses its connection. This was not a problem with the other FW800 cables I have purchased and reviewed here on Amazon.

Wrong Description, cheap generic cable, 400 OK, 800 NG!

This is a bait and switch. They are not SIIG cable with proper ground. There is leakage at 800 speed. 400 is passable. Time will tell if the contacts corrode. Buyer beware, worth the price as cheap wires, just don't expect quality material as advertised.

Great product

I received the cables very quickly. I use them to connect an audio recording device which was on firewire 400 before that. I have not had one issue with the cable at all.

Great for the price

Good product. Needed it for a difficult location but length was great. No problems.
