Exactly what I was looking for.

(5 out of 5) by Kyle on Feb 9, 2009
This was exactly what I was looking for in purchasing a cover for my Ipod when I received it for christmas. I own a 120gig and it fits it perfectly and snaps on and stays on tight, the box does say it will fit a 30, and 80 gig as well, but don't know about a 160gig. The viewing stand I bought with it slids on and is easy to use as well. The thing I like most about it is the covering of the screen, and that the entire thing is see-thru with no stupid designs or even logos on it, it's a straight to the point case. Very glad of purchasing this one compared to the other ones I saw online.

One of the best "deals" and iPod cases on the market

(5 out of 5) by Seen on Jan 24, 2009
i am an avid iPod user--I have owned several models over the years. i also, as a result, have also tried many cases over the years for said iPods.

But to be relvant to this model/kit: it fits my 30GB iPod video, my 80GB iPod classic, and as the specs imply it fits the 120GB iPod classic.

(160GB iPod classic, and the 60GB/80GB iPod video use a double-plate hard drive which translates to a thicker iPod, so it will not fit those models to my knowledge.)

This is hands down one of the best "deals" (considering all you get) and best QUALITY cases/kits available for the iPod Classic.

One of the things that makes this kit unique is its interchangability. You put the case itself on very easily. It "snap-locks" in place, but is not too hard to remove if need be. It adds slight bulk to the unit, but remains form-fitted and fairly "thin." That said, you won't need to remove it. The dock connector adapter allows you to leave it in the for charging, docking and using various docking devices--I never take my iPods out of the case personally, as I haven't had a need to.

But more than that I can't gush enough over two particular interchangable parts: the belt clip and the view stand.

For whatever reason view stands (cases with view stands) seem to be "rare," but if you're like me and often watch the iPod videos on a plane, etc, the view stand is like manna from heaven. It is a much more pleasurable viewing experience than simply "holding the iPod" and other methods. It has an adjustable angle for optimal viewing, and is easily stored and traveled with.

The belt clip snaps in and out easily (but again is very secure)...and let me say this about the belt clip: belt clips seem to be the trend for a lot of electronic device "cases" (from phones to iPods) and personally I find many of them to be rather dubious. (I have lost an iPod and two cellular phones from the belt clip case easily falling off, which is why I usually prefer cases that have actual belt loops that attach to the belt.)

This belt clip seems to almost never come unattached "accidentally" from my jeans or belt (don't always wear a belt.) It too, is easily stored/traveled with.

My one criticism is not so much with this kit but with many of the polycarbonate/etc. form-fitted hard cases available for iPods. You may find that they pick up minor (fairly unnoticeable) scratches very easily. It's better the case than the iPod, but I wish they made cases like these more scratch-resistant. I have two of these Agent 18 cases/kits for my iPods and after and the durability is good--scratches are largely minor and cosmetic--meaning, they don't affect visibility when you're using the iPod, it mostly shows up when the screen is off/blank.

Having used a variety of brands of cases and such for a variety of iPod models over the years, I can say in terms of quality, function, and price--this is probably the best iPod case/kit I have come across. I highly recommend it.

Works Well

This product saved my 80 gig Ipod. I dropped the ipod on a bathroom floor and it came out looking pretty. The case got a little chip where the contact was made (it is plastic), but the ipod had 0 damage. The only downside of this case is it does add some extra bulk to the ipod. I don't mind the bulk as long as my ipod is protected and in this case it is!
