I purchased the targus platinum blacktop standard 17 laptop case on the description given at amazon.com. It turned out to be better than I expected. It had more compartments for storage than I thought possible. I have taken it on an airplane and am really pleased with the size, efficieancy and ease of use. I would recommend this case to anyone looking for a great case at a reasonable price. I checked at Office Max and the same case was twice what I paid for it on amazon.com

I've been using this Targus case for a few weeks now. It is a slim case (4½ inches deep) yet it holds my 17 inch notebook and peripheral gear with ease. There is even room for my Kindle 2 plus the leather case I keep it in. It's well made and I'm entirely happy with it. Of note was the suberb service I received from Amazon when I returned another case to get this one. I had ordered a different Targus case (TBT046US) that was supposed to be 5½ inches deep according to the technical information. That was on the upper edge of how big a case I wanted but it turned out to be closer to 7 inches deep. I checked Targus's own web site and they listed it at 6½ inches. I called Amazon and they immediately credited my credit card - even before I returned the case to them. They exceeded my expectations.

Another good Targus product. The case is well padded and contains several sections to carry accessories and work materials.

Targus is excellent for the way the bags are made, this is a bag big enough to fit any one of the 4 laptops that I need from time to time. It's sturdy and even with the heaviest laptop I have not that heavy to carry especially if you are a lady as I am. It's a great price for a great bag. Well worth it.
