I was using this as my Time Machine unit for Mac OS Leopard, but realized that I needed it more for my video editing. This thing just stores hours and hours of high quality video.
One thing to note on this unit though - it says that it's raid, but it only supports RAID-1, striping. It doesn't support RAID-0, mirroring. So I was originally thinking that it would be a great raid enabled backup, but it isn't. The RAID-1 gives good performance for e.g. video editing, but if one drive fails, then you've lost all your data. As long as you know this and accept the risk, it's great.
