Excellent case for the Antec MX-25

(5 out of 5) by Goat Herder on Mar 17, 2010 (Deployed to Middle East)
I'm very happy with this case. Wanted Red to distinguish it from other items in my backpack. Holds the Antec MX-25 very well and has very little room left over, maybe 1/2-3/4". Top of the case with the netting will hold an esata cable, the 2 ended usb cable and a couple of usb thumb drives. Seems sturdy enough to handle a drop but I don't want to test an impact on the hard drive heads. Glad I got these and will look for others but in black next time for my less speedy drives and cases.

Awesome Case..Mod Version

(5 out of 5) by Jake Gross on Mar 11, 2010 (Pittsford, NY USA)
I bought this case for a different reason than most. I was looking for something to cover an internal hard drive. Since I use my laptop as a desktop, I have two internal drives docked to work as externals. Since one will always be out of the dock, I wanted it to be protected. So I ripped out the seam cover on the inside of the case. I used a little knife point to de-lace, and from there it was just pulling a string. I cut off the elastic band and netting to make room. I have to pictures uploaded (hopefully) showing how it fits. It ended up being snug, and protective. So even though I did not buy for intended use, I can highly recommend its durability as a case.

Case works fine

Purchased thru Amazon. The case holds a Seagate FreeAgent external drive plus the USB cable just fine. Been using almost 3 months now. Delivery was prompt. Overall Good experience.

Hard Drive case

Love the case by its hard but not rough outer material, and the color. Making it feminine but not flimsy....

"Too big" is not necessarily a bad thing. :-)

Even though this great little hardside case is a little too big for my external drive, I prefer that. There's room for a flash drive, earbuds, photo card, or an extra little cord or cable without putting strain on the zipper.
NOTE: To keep the drive from sliding around, I cut a piece of rubber "gripper" pad--the kind you use to help open jars or keep rugs from slipping--and placed it in the case underneathe the drive. Worked like a charm! All snug as a bug...
