Check on the inside

(2 out of 5) by Brian J. Starr on Dec 4, 2009 (East Lansing, MI USA)
As they say beauty is on the inside. Well that is where this thumb drive fails. The metal cylinder is well made and will never break. But the thumb drive within is cheap plastic. Within a month of use it has begun to fall apart. This is sad, I had high hopes for this. Spend your money elsewhere if you want a really rugged flash drive. Also the flash drive makes some weird electrical popping noise when it first contacts the usb port, independent of which computer I use it on. Hopefully everything is grounded properly on this thing and it will not short circuit my board.

Very sturdy and easy to use. Stores alot of memory. Has a chain so no need to worry about losing the flash drive. :)

Sturdy and Reliable

This is an excellent value and the product could stand rough-housing without any fear of damaging the files. The only thing that didn't work for me was that it was sort of big and clunky so I couldn't keep it on my keychain. That's not so much a flaw - probably perfect for others - but the reason I already lost it! I need to attach things to my keys or I'll lose it.

It's a perfect flash disk for working outside, specially in the country like Afghanistan. I'm there and this disk still working everytime, without problems. His name Survivor is really right

Keep your data safe

This product is a jumpdrive and does a fine job of that. I like to keep it in my pocket so that I always have access to it. Unfortunately it's a little bulky and also after a few months of wear the rubber grips are comming unglued. I think it's a good trade off though, since the worst thing about jumdrives is their ability to be lost or destroyed. I get the feeling like you could drive a car over this with no issue to its use in a computer. It also has a rubber gasket at the bottom of the screwing threads that may keep it watertight. Also it's bulkiness makes it harder to slip out of sight our from wherever you are carrying it. An extension usb cable is included to help it bulkiness from covering up other USB ports when it is plugged in.
