the last flash disk you will ever buy

(5 out of 5) by Cole Smith on Oct 12, 2008
the survivor flash disk is one tough item. even if the outside case looks knicked and dinged the flash disk looks like new!. it is waterproof, shock and drop resistant, it is virtually indestructable. it may be a little larger than the flash disk you carry now (3.25" tall, .75" dia) but it is perfect for the person who is hard on their flash disks or likes to cary it on their key ring.

corsair 16G flash survivor

(1 out of 5) by anonymous on Oct 28, 2008
I purchased two of these. One works fine; the other does not. It asks to be formated when I plug it into my computer. This happened on the second day of use. Followed the instructions on the website to reformat the drive, when the standard methods failed. No luck, was told by Corsair that I have to send in the drive to be analyzed. They have had the drive for a week now and still no response. I have little experience with this company, but this does not bode well.

Cool item

Unique product. Maybe a bit pricey for the number of gigs, but rest assured no one else in your office has one! Note that the item is a little bulky [it is a stainless steel cylinder] and thus much larger than the typical USB stick/drive.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fast, light, cool-looking with the chain. The best flash drive that I have ever used. The only problem is that mine was only 7.3gb.

Great Product & Durable

(5 out of 5) by Linda L. Dockter on Jun 6, 2008 (Alaska)
Got this product just over a week ago, and the first thing I felt compelled to do with it was throw it against my dresser, did more damage to the dresser then the flash drive. Some complain that it is a bit to bulky, it is larger then most flash drives but I don't consider it bulky at all. Data transfer rates are not the best on the market but its still a fast device. If you use and abuse your flash drives like I do this one is perfect for you, once its in its capsule nothing can hurt it.
