First things first, I just bought this receiver on Amazon for $298 from 6ave. Now with that said, if your looking for a receiver with a good amount of A/V hookups and great sound this is for you. The Denon AVR 1908 has a lot going for it. With a lot of built in decoders including true HDMI audio playback (meaning when you hook up the HDMI cable to the receiver the audio is sent to the speakers instead of the TV). The sound is crystal clear with no distortion (.07 THD)even with my underpowered bookshelf speakers thanks to the Audyssy Multi EQ. With a rated power of 90-120 watts a channel and sleek design this receiver is a must for anyone with HDTV. If there is some drawbacks to this receiver it would have start with the set-up. The manual is very confusing to anyone not familar with home theatre. I myself am really good with know-hows with A/V equipment but still find all of the features on the receiver perplexing. Also it should be noted that the video output of this receiver is a little bit degraded compared to hooking up straight to your HDTV. No its not my HDMI cables, they are a very high grade (24 gage, triple shielded, gold plated, net jacketing, catergory 2 rated) cable. Although most people probably wont notice except for A/V nitpickers like me. Now with all that said my review is probly lower than it deserves. Feature for feature you cant go wrong, just way too many to list. Check out Denon.com for a full list. The sound is great and the video is almost perfect, you will not find a better receiver for the money. Trust me you'll be happy you purchased I gurantee it.

Love this reciever, when I ordered it they actually sent the 1909 which is the 09 model.
Works great with PS3 and Samsung 52" A850 perfectly.
Only complaint is the controller buttons on both sides, it this does not matter as most people get a universal controller anyway.
