A very nice subwoofer, in my opinion.

I tried to learn all i could about various brands, and listened to what i could at Circuit City and Best Buy...mostly JBL & Klipsch. In all honesty, i was never able to listen to this before purchasing. I went with gut feeling after reading about Boston's "circuitry". It turned out to be a great buy. This thing is way clearer sounding, than the subs i heard at Circuit city and Best Buy.
Well, after a year of daily use, it's still a great performer. There may be better subs out there, but i don't have a single complaint with this one.

The best sub for the money
(5 out of 5) by Thang Nguyen on Dec 14, 2008 (Denver, CO)I purchased this subwoofer on July of 2008. When I received it, it was easy to set it up with my Onyko TX-SR606. This sub was purchased to replace the Sony SA-W3000 Subwoofer that I had previously had.
The difference between the sound was unimaginable. The bass comes out VERY CLEAN AND CLEAR. It sounds this way at all sound levels. What's also nice is that this subwoofer can be as loud as you want and it's won't rattle like the Sony SA-W3000 that I had. Also, I actually felt the bass shake my couch when watching movies, which is good thing.

Powerfull FORCE
(5 out of 5) by R. kalis on May 1, 2009 (Langdon,ND.)I purchased this sub after listening to sevaral different ones in music stores.I checked out as many as I could find.I have always liked boston speakers,but this is the first of thier purducts I have owned.There quality and sound is quite good.This sub has a rich powerfull sound,I was unable to find anything else this good for 400.00.I couldnt even find one that compared at all,where I live.My only complaint is boston makes really ugly looking speakers.This sub I can live with,but I will not buy there speakers.Unless they improve thier looks.Bottom line sounds great but as ugly as you can find.
