Just bought this at best buy for 131.00. I think with the reviews it is an excellent price.

Have to give this 5 stars, given its weight rating and the price compared to other stands out there. Assembled it is attractive, simple, sturdy, and the rear columns are great for collecting/hiding cabling (remove a few screws to open the panels, add cords, and replace panels -- without impacting any other element of the structure. Or simply pass them through without unscrewing the panels.)
My only complaints, and again given the relative price I can't detract points for it, are some ill-advised part-number stickers (would have been nice if they stuck them on the underside of the glass panels, to eliminate the need to carefully de-stickum-ize a fragile surface) and a lengthy delivery period:
Given that items such as this are often purchased in tandem with a new television or similar equipment, I was disappointed with the turn-around on this unit's delivery. Prior to, during, and even now after I've purchased this and it has been delivered, Amazon has stated it "usually ships within 3-5 business days". However this actually took 20 days total to get here, requiring a variety of makeshift setups for the things that were supposed to sit on it in the interim. Plan accordingly!

This stand was easy to assemble. Has a nice gloss finish. There are two shelves that are a nice size. I have my playstation 3 and sony dvd player on one shelf. The other shelf has cable box and receiver. The stand has a hidden dept for your wires, so wires don't show in the back.

When the base came in it's box, I was a bit worried by the weight. I was also worried about putting it together, considering the size and weight of the box. Once I got it opened up, I found it as easy as pie to put together. This is not your usual Bush piece of furniture. The directions were easy to follow and the unit took no time at all to assemble, taking less than an hour. It is sturdy, attractive and very functional. The open back makes it easy to attach all of your wires to your units. One problem I faced was that my reciever was too tall to fit on one of the three glass shelves, so I had to remove one it which wasn't tough as it slides in and out easy. The unit is even wide enough that you can even double up and put two audio or video units side by side. Overall, I am more than very happy with the base and would not hesitate to purchase it again.

very stable base, looks great,will hold most tv and just what i had in mine for my tv hold up to 60 inch tv.
