Awesome TV Great Price
I've had this TV for about 5 months, and I've gotta say that its amazing! I have my PS3 hooked up to it and Bluray movies and games look incredibly crisp and clear. For a budget TV, this thing has a fantastic picture and some great features. Calibrating the colors took a little bit of effort but once out of the way the thing is fantastic. The sound is great too, but I'm no audiophile. Sounds good to me, though.

Nice quality TV
After doing a lot of research we decided to go with Vizio rather than one of the typical name brands. Also side by side viewing comparison helped clinch the deal. It's a great TV, quality picture & sound at a reasonable price. With what it cost to go to the movies now days it has been worth the cost of the flat screen TV to have a quality movie viewing experience at home. We have been so impressed with this TV that we ended up purchasing a 37" Vizio for the bedroom. While originally looking at flat screen TVs we weren't sure if we wanted to go with plasma or LCD. The plasma TVs have a shiny screen; so there would be reflections from every window & light source reflecting off the shiny plasma screen. I was a bit apprehensive about the matt screen of the LCD. Yes you get deeper blacks with plasma, but in the end we made the right choice going with the LCD since we didn't want to contend with reflections bouncing off the screen. Vizio makes a nice quality product at a good price.

POOR PRODUCT
I would like everyone to know that I purchased two Visio TV's and 14 months after the purchase, my 42" TV went out., ie the power supply burned up. I called Visio and after a half hour of automated voice prompts, I was finally able to talk to a human. I explained my dilemma and was told that there was nothing they could do for me, as the warranty was expired. I advised that I didn't feel the power supply should have burned up in 14 months and he advised that he was sorry, the warranty was for 12 months and he would not honor anything after that date. So I am asking everyone to look at this information as a warning not to purchase an inferior product.

Vizio
This is the second vizio i have owned and i could not be happier with the HD that these TV's have. I would recommend to anyone wanting a HD-TV.

HARD TO BEAT FOR THE PRICE!
This is the second of three Vizio TV's I have purchased in the past four years and I must say these TV's are hard to beat for the price! It's hard to knock the easy to use controls and excellent picture on a TV that beats out many competitors TV's prices by at least a third of the cost.
The TV also has excellent sound from the mounted speakers which on many other brands were far inferior. I own four LCD TVs three of them are made by Vizio and they are certainly worth looking into especially when you're on a budget. I have read some reviews about the TV's breaking down and I can only tell you from my own experience, that all three of my Vizios have performed above expectations without any break downs what so ever.
Every manufacturer is going to have defective sets and most warrantees are the same regardless of who makes them. If you're on a budget (and who isn't these days?) look into Vizio. I have a new 240hz Vizio set that is one of the best pictures I've ever seen.
