Range and antenna are poor

(3 out of 5) by Just A Guy on Jan 7, 2008 (Ohio)
The Good
-"Just works"
-Linux compatible
-Very small size

The Bad
-Connector & plastic part protrude from USB port ~1/2"
-Terrible signal - max 50% with cell phone hovering just over device (file transfers do work)
-Few feet of range gives me 10-30% signal, most file transfers initiate but fail

Great Product

(5 out of 5) by Greg A. Good on Apr 18, 2008 (birmingham al usa)
This is a great product with a very good price! I will definitely be purchasing more. I am an engineer - computer geek, I have tested one of these. It is fast reliable compact and comes with great software. I am a very critical person if you ask me to find something to complain about it would only be that it is small enough I might loose it. It is small enough that I leave it in the USB port of my laptop and I do not have to worry about something hitting it and breaking it.

I like this product so well I almost forgot to mention that the one I received did not exactly match the photo. It is identical except the tabs - winds that are in the photo are rounded off completely. This makes it smaller slimmer and less likely to snag on something if you leave it in the USB port. If you want to see the pick go to the manufacturers website. [...].

Enjoy!

Small but works great!

So far.... I didn't know I might be able to make my Axim sync with it, but I'm gonna try that for sure!

I've used it successfully with iomega stereo headsets and an iomega bluetooth headphone/mic thing. Pairs up easily!

It is tiny, tho, so it's probably not something you want to try to carry around and plug & unplug. However, it also doesn't stick out, so you could conceivably leave it in all the time without problems.

Completely worth EVERY PENNY!

(5 out of 5) by Hoa Thai Mai on Mar 22, 2008 (Spangdahlem, Germany)
I own a Treo 680, along side with my Samsung stereo bluetooth headphones. I have always wanted to use my headphones with my computer and laptop. This adapter here made it possible! It came with a driver disk providing you with all you're tasks. Along with that, I am now able to sync my Treo with my computer and laptop with no hassle of trying to locate my chord.

there is a downfall... Originally I purchased this adapter for it's size, I like the fact of how compact and low profile it is. But it makes it a little hard trying to disconnect it. I have to rock it either back and forth or up and down to get it out, just because it's a little hard to get a grip on it that's all.

Overall, a must buy if you're bluetoothed.

Plug & Play, no hassles

I plugged this into my Dell Vostro 220 and Vista picked it up immediately and installed the drivers automatically. Got my BT mouse to work flawlessly in just a few minutes.
