I have this case for almost a year now and it works great. I only put my Canon PowerShot SD790 in it. It would fit in a handbag, backpack, or a large pocket. I didn't feel there was anything wrong with the wrist loop like other reviewers mentioned. I was looking for a rigid and inexpensive case and this fits the bill.

The Case Logic ECB-1 EVA Compact Camera Case confirms my experience over the years with other Case Logic cases, they build quality products. This case is perfect for compact cameras. The materials and zip quality are excellent. What is not excellent is the lack of any belt clip or any method of attaching to your belt. I actually had to swap cases with my wife. This case is however, perfect for carrying in a bag or purse, it is surprisingly compact and thin (due to the rigid design, there is no need for extra padding). So 4 out of 5 stars just because of the lack of clip.

I'm a big fan of Case Logic because they make some of the best quality and best looking cases. The Case Logic EVA Compact Camera Case is a near perfect fit for my Sony Cybershot DSCW170, which has the dimensions 3-3/4" x 2-3/8" x 1-1/4". Any camera that is of comparable size will fit nicely into the case with a little room to spare.

- Semi-Hard Case
The semi-hard case has a enough give all around to effectively cushion the camera from a hard drop. Any shock sustained on any part of the case will be harmlessly dissipated by the semi-hard case material (A hard case would not protect as well because it would transmit most of the shock it receives to the camera).

The semi-hard case holds its shape very well, which allows the camera to be quickly and easily put in or taken out of the case.

- Durable Material
The outer shell is made of durable nylon. The inner shell is made of a smooth fabric that will not scratch the camera.

- Rubberized Double-Zippers
The double-zippers are rubberized to prevent them from inadvertently scratching the camera.

- Lanyard Ring
You can optionally attach a lanyard to the ring.

- Inner Netting
The netting on one side of the case can hold at least of couple of SD cards or several microSD cards.

Additional Points

The size of the case is on the large side. It is, unfortunately, a little too big to fit in a shirt pocket.

I have seen this Case Logic case in a variety of colors at some brick and mortar stores. The stitching on some of the cases appear a little sloppy. IMO, the black/red case (this one) is the best-looking one because the black stitching on it is barely visible, so any tacky stitching will not detract from an otherwise nice-looking case.

In addition, one of my concerns when I was contemplating selecting the black case was whether its exterior would attract dust, which would show up conspicuously on its black surface. It turned out that my concern was unfounded.

The Case Logic EVA Compact Camera Case is durable and functional. The semi-hard case will protect your camera from even a hard drop. If you don't mind its slightly large size, the Case Logic EVA Compact Camera Case will serve its intended purpose very well.

I was looking for a great, SMALL case to fit my SD770. Since that camera is so small, I didn't want a huge case making it impossible to fit in my pocket.

This case is awesome! It's small, fits the camera perfectly, and still has a little room for extra memory cards and a lens cloth. It's very high quality, as most Case Logic stuff is. It almost feels like a hardshell, nylon case - it's very sturdy and makes you feel as though your camera is well-protected.
