Nice addition to my home office.
A very nice addition to a home office or kitchen counter. You need to check the details on Bushnell's website to see if your location is one (or close to ) the 150 reporting cities that can be displayed. Another note is that the unit comes with a 115/60 power cord, so you have the option to plug in to a wall outlet or run on batteries. If you run the display on 115/60 power the LCD is back-lit with various bright colors depending on the current temperature(a different color for each 10 degrees of temperature). Bushnell also offers a 7-day version at a higher price...

Not Exact Temperature
This unit doesn't give the exact temperature for where you live. You can only program it for one of 150 places in the country..not your exact location. Because of this, it can be off by quite a bit. I was disappointed.
weatherbug
I really like this unit. I live very near a large city, so my weather readings are fairly accurate. It is very easy to read I the colored background (when hooked to AC) are a nice feature. Be aware, though, it is bright. It lights up my entire kitchen at night. I did experience two drawbacks. I wanted to put it on my fridge, but the magnet is way too weak. Had to use a 3M hook. Also, I could not get it to work on just battery power. I am sure I could have returned it, but I just hooked it up to AC so I could use the colored backgrounds.
I got the same thing for $29.99
I don't turn on my t.v. or computer in the morning before leaving for work so I wanted one of these to be able to see the weather forecast and dress accordingly each morning. The build in magnet is quite strong so I put in on my refrigerator. Brookstone had it on sale for $29.99 and so I bought it there. My understanding is that (even though it looks exactly the same) the one I bought is an older model that doesn't capture the radio signal as well as the newer ones. This only matters if you live outside of a large city or in a rural area. Since I live in the middle of a big city it wasn't an issue for me. I like it a lot (it updates every 15 minutes) but dont' know that I'd pay over $100 for it.
5-day forecaster
This was a birthday gift to me and we are very pleased with it. Not a day goes by that we don't refer to it. The forecasts have been accurate. It makes a great night-light, too!
