Sweet package

(5 out of 5) by C. Purdy on Dec 8, 2007 (Somerville, MA United States)
The MicroSD card is just a MicroSD card, but the USB adapter is the smallest I've ever seen. This is a sweet package. It also comes with a little rubber "sheath" to optionally hold the adapter and/or MicroSD card, and that can clip onto a keychain etc.

Exactly what I was looking for

(5 out of 5) by Rick Lobrecht on Mar 25, 2008 (Pearland, TX United States)
What I needed was an extremely portable flash drive for personal files at work. This thing fits the bill exactly. It has worked successfully on my Windows XP laptop, and personal Apple MacBook. The size is brilliant, and in a pinch, I can also stick the card into my phone. Several people have commented that they would lose it, and I do see that as a possibility. It comes with a rubber case which I have attached to my keys. In case of loss, most of my real data is inside a TrueCrypt container, so it quite safe.

Highly recommended.

AData 2GB mem card

(5 out of 5) by D. Sandoval on Oct 7, 2008 (Los Angeles, CA USA)
On aesthetics, I was somewhat disappointed that the card adapter is pink instead of the green shown.

The card works in my Samsung phone and in my PC's USB slots with the adapter flawlessly.

It also is packaged with a small pink 2" long lanyard with a tiny carabiner clip to your phone if it has a small bar to hook it to. Their is also a pink rubber holder that you insert the card adapter into. All in a hot pink. Too girly for me so I don't use the lanyard or the rubber holder. I like the plastic case it comes with, however. It resembles a CompactFlash memory enclosure with plastic moldings to hold the adapter and the card itself.

Small, Very Small...BEWARE OF THE PINK MICRO READER!!!

First of all let me say that this is the absolute smallest device, save for the micro sd card itself that i have ever seen. extremely portable. And the best part is that its upgradeable, you can just buy a bigger sd card if you need it and keep the reader. One bad side to the small size of this device is that you must be very careful if you remove the SD card. If your not careful you WILL break the card or the reader(or both! i hope not for your sake!). Also if your a larger person, meaning big hands...i would advise against this purchase, this is clearly not made for someone like you. And would be very frustrating to remove the SD card. BEWARE OF THE PINK MICRO READER! I GOT STUCK WITH A PINK ONE! IM LUCKY I DONT CARRY THIS AROUND ITS STUCK IN MY CAR STEREO'S USB PORT(JVC). (check out www.portableapps.com)

Absolutely love it - given about 10 more as gifts

Gotta love the cool-factor. But it's entirely functional too. Transfer speeds are pretty quick, small size is a must for me and they just couldn't make this any smaller. You could almost lose this thing in a shag carpet! I've purchased this as a gift for about 10 others - great price for a simple gift that still serves as a cool conversation piece. At least 4-5 other people have purchased one after seeing mine.

They do get hot though. When using the USB reader and transferring a lot of data, the little guy gets very hot to the touch, but not alarmingly so.

No issues with it after about 6 months of use. No regrets.
