this mp3 shuffle is a generic but its virtually identical to an ipod which i also own. its great because you can dowload any mp3s onto it and dont have to pay for itunes. it works great! and i use it daily for my workouts.

This is NOT and IPOD! It is a cheap knockoff. They should probably be sued for using the "shuffle" name. They even use the word ipod in the description so it comes up on searches. I hope karma gets them. It's also bigger than a real ipod, and the hinge is cheap, and uses a different charger than a real shuffle.

I fell for the cheap price because it was a Xmas gift for a little boy.
We still have yet to hear something other than the cheezy canned muzak it came with. I have NO idea how to get cd's or any of our itunes on to it?
I NEED SOME DIRECTIONS anyone ?
I hate wasting money and materials and what's worse, give my cc# to rip off artists!

ps we bought a refurbished ipod (a bonafide apple) for the boy - it works beautifully!

I too fell for the look alike. I knew the price was too good to be true but was blinded by the thought of getting such a good deal. If you are looking for an ipod, BEWARE this is a knock off. I missed it and am unhappy. I should have been more observant. :(

This price is so low because these people are selling an MP3 player that looks like the shuffle and comes from china. Believe me I have bought one of these and it was not the Apple Shuffle and I was not happy about it.
