Mac Friendly
(5 out of 5) by D. Beijer on Nov 18, 2008My Mac Pro with standard NVIDIA 7300 card likes her new monitor. Included DVI cable attached and it was up and running. Audio is acceptable with included mini cable.
Adjustments:
Seems everything is available but all I changed were Brightness and Gamma (whatever that is). Expect you could get it just the way you want.
NEC web site has NaViSet software available allowing adjustments from the computer. This unit is not included in the Supported Monitor section. I did not install it. The OSD works well enough if you don't feel the need to change things frequently.
I was a bit behind the times and replaced a 20" CRT. LCD this size is different. Just a matter of getting yourself adjusted, not a problem.
Biggest adjustment is the much higher resolution. Everything gets smaller. I didn't have to upgrade my computer glasses but did change a few fonts.
LCD is sensitive to viewing angle (color gradient changes) and I get a little flicker when moving windows. Glad I bought a plasma TV ...

This monitor is awesome and the best!!!!!!!!

If i have the money i would buy 3 more just for the heck of it. However, the only bad thing is it doesnt come with a remote control. Therefore, you have to manually press the button. It takes about a good 20 seconds to switch from pc-mode to HDMi or other mode. However, it is still a good buy and the best ever!!!! highly recommended!!!!!!!

Very happy with this monitor
