This is a great kit for getting started. The extra battery is a must, the bag works well, and the cleaning kit is very nice to have. The lens has given me plenty of great results although its auto focus is a little slow.

The CF card allows the camera to work at its fastest and the card reader is helpful to have. The tripod is light weight and easy to use although it is bumped easily so a time exposure needs to be done with a time delay.

Overall it is a great package well worth its cost.

Having the extra equipment has been great! The lens is wonderful and I can get great pictures with it at distances. The extra battery and memory card have come in handy plenty of times.
