I have some hearing loss and the volume assist really helps. I did not have any trouble with the reciever as some folks indicated. A good buy...arrived is just a few days.

Unacceptable!

We've tried numerous phones purported to be for hearing impaired people, and have yet to find one that delivers the goods. We certainly thought that by buying a higher quality phone with features specifically for the hearing impaired, that we would have been happy with the results. Well, not this time. This one might have worked but the supposed "Extra Loud" ringer wasn't loud enough for my mom to her the phone ring. It lasted a couple days and was returned as unacceptable. I cannot recommend this phone as advertised.
