Works very well with some minor limitations.
I purchased this item and the Bluetooth adapter (somewhere else..). They both work very well. The bluetooth was the biggest reason I bought this and am not disappointed. It re-connects with the phone automatically. No silly headset to charge or put on. Just get in the car and it's ready to answer a call. Second reason was the USB port. I hooked up an old laptop hard drive in a $12 usb case. Works well but there are some limitations. It recognizes ID3 tags as long as you do them right but it plays them in the order they were put on the storage device. Pays no attention to file names or even .m3u playlists. Also is limited to 127 folders. You can have 48,000 files, but only 127 folders. My dream of a rolling ipod is only partially realized. I guess if you want the real thing you have to be ready to shell out for it. USB thumb drives work really well. All in all I would recommend this to someone looking for lots of options at an affordable price.

inexpensive way to get digital audio
I have an older car and didn't want to spend a whole lot of money replacing the old cd deck that was stolen out of it.
This stereo does a lot for the price: it's worth it for the USB alone. Sound is good, not great. Pretty standard on the install process.
One thing that is annoying is that when you turn it on, the display says "bluetooth ready" to try to upsell you on the bluetooth unit.
The hint must be working because I am looking forward to getting the bluetooth unit to be able to stream audio off of my blackberry.
I would recommend this to anyone looking to add USB without spending too much $$$.

Works great!
I got it install it six weeks ago, however i haven't used CDs on it, only USB an input port and for those it works great, good sound and many setup and display options.
The only thing i don't like is that when you use the shuffle option on USB it only goes thru current folder, it doesn't shuffle on the whole USB content, so that for me is useless this way.

for the price, near perfect
I bought this to replace the factory radio in my 97 Buick Century. I do a lot of traveling and listen primarily to books on CD and so forth. I wanted USB to be able to plug in downloaded music and while I wanted bluetooth capability, I didn't need it immediately.
Overall I'm very pleased. The USB is a fantastic feature, as now I don't need to burn CD's for my car, and I can add files on the fly. The availability of bluetooth is great at this price and - good news - the Dual bluetooth module is one of the least expensive ones on the market. I looked at Sony and other models and most of their add-on units ran over $100.
On the negative side, the display is a bit dim in daylight but manageable. The button controls are almost illegible when driving, so memorize them beforehand. I also had to cut out part of the back of the cavity where the old radio was, as the new one was about 1/2 inch too long.
Dual does have a similar model with built in HD radio and bluetooth. It's relatively inexpensive as well, and you may want to get that one if you have the cash. But if you don't need HD and want future bluetooth upgradeability, go for it.

Amazing sound quality, loaded with options, USB and Bluetooth are deal clinchers !!!
What a product. I bought it from Best Buy for only $70. It was on clearance. I know I could not get it cheaper so I bought it as soon as I saw it as they only had two units left. I got it installed next day. First of all, sound quality is great, no qualms there. It has lots of options to choose from, volume, bass, treble, speaker balance, loudness, equalizer, etc. So you can create a program according to what pleases your ears. It plays audio CDs, MP3 and WMA formats which is great. You can save 200 MP3 songs on a CD and you are ready to roll. Isn't that nice. These features are actually not the reason I bought this one as they are commonplace for any car CD system. I bought this one because of USB port and Bluetooth. You can plug in your USB drive with songs on it. That is pretty cool because it saves you the trouble of burning audio CDs or MP3 CDs. Saving songs on USB is much faster. It also has an Auxiliary slot so you can connect any MP3 player/ipod which is nice too. Now the best part...If you have a Bluetooth device (esp. phone), you can connect that to this unit (you need to buy a Bluetooth Module sold separately though) and you can take/make calls from this unit. This makes things much easier while you are driving. I would have liked if I could do it without using that Module which costs around $40. Nevertheless, its a nice feature. I AM WONDERING IF I CAN CONNECT MY PHONE BY SIMPLY USING A USB-BLUETOOTH ADAPTER. If anyone has tried this, please let me know. That may save you a few bucks as USB-Bluetooth adapters are much cheaper than the module. So overall its a nice unit with many many useful features. Boy, at $70, is that cheap :-)
